Halloween…
Goodbye dearest Mike…
Mike Kuchar is leaving today to San Francisco to live with George, his twin brother after spending all his life in the Bronx and making all his films there… Their mother died in August which brought an end to their life in the Bronx. I am so sad to say goodbye to my favorite romantic filmmaker and dearest friend, Mike. Mike taught me how to make my first film and became the subject of my first film in Bird Bath and Beyond. Thank you Mike for all your gave me, I learned from you to make films with nothing but laughters and pleasure…you really will be missed here…and I will miss coming to spend time with you making delicious lemon curd pies and devouring pounds of ice cream while making films in your crazy costumes and make up!…see you soon again in San Francisco.

Voyage to France, Film Festival La Roche Sur Yons
A wonderful week in France, in Vendee-such a great welcoming at the festival! Small towns have the best vibes and people… curious, open, incredibly generous and so happy to discover experimental films! A great festival and great memories!
Week in Paris meeting film geeks and old friends and eating all the pastries in the patisseries until many stomack explosion! I feel so happy to be back home-france-i had forgotten what it felt to feel in tune with the language, the poeple and the food! Yet i remain a total alien in my own country, completly displaced in the city and the pace.
I went through the big Art Fair LA FIAC, and saw the really beautiful stand of Pip Chodorov, for REVOIR, very creative stand and films in all forms and projections…dreams for a night and a great time with Virginie Yassef and Aurelie Godard, 2 very close friends who had 2 wonderfully whimsical pieces in the fair…I miss them already.

Sad news
It has been a hard time for me and i could not update my blog because my Dear friend and collaborator Lady Jaye, Genesis P-Orridge’s wife just died 2 weeks ago of a heart attak…and left me and so many of us with a giant pain…i was never able to say goodbye or hold her one more time in my arms.
Genesis is devastated- i can feel for her all the pain she carries around and wish i would be able to bring Jaye back and death is impossible to understand.
I have been spending the past 2 years filming them all the time together and experiencing their incredible bound of love…i miss Jaye and feel so sad feeling the pain Genesis is carrying around.
The film will now only be deeper and more personal and we will make it in honor and for Lady Jaye. I have such beautiful and happy footage of Jaye-I have to preserve that image and the energy she gave me and gave to all of us.
I will be thinking of her always and I hope she is warm and not far where she is now, I do miss you Jaye and always will.
