As part of the film festival dedicated to Jack Smith in Berlin at the Kino Arsenal in October called LIVE FILMS!-a few filmmakers (Guy Maddin, Ulrike Ottinger…) got commissioned to make a film inspired by Jack Smith.  I am so thankful I am one of them!

Here are some of the stills from my shoot on the great rusted Ferry of Brooklyn where 30 of my dear friends wore my hand made costumes and hats and danced to the music of dearest April MArch and ended up a beautiful day into a slimy Fish Fight! In addition, the 2 muses of the fishes were 2 amazing mermaids, Tony Conrad and Genesis P-Orridge!  What a treat! so here is my SLAP THE GONDOLA!
